Thankfully we are getting the new FREE Dartmoor Garden Show event, which seems like it will be close to a bonus mission despite being an escalation. I personally think it's sad that the 7DS are pushed by IO to be the premier content right now, when in reality, are just more overpriced escalations. I also really hate how long the roadmaps and patches take to come out, ever since they switched to 'seasonal' roadmaps (as opposed to monthly). It was a real slap in the face when IO released a $30 episodic escalation pack only two months after launch.

I refuse to pay for more escalations after being disappointed with the 'deluxe' escalations. Escalations have three major downsides: they're unavailable offline, no saving, and lower replay value compared to bonus missions and special assignments. Escalations have always been free content until H3 Deluxe Edition (I'm not going to count the Patient Zero Escalations, since they were part of a much larger paid content pack).Р”Р„fter being disappointed with the deluxe edition, I was really hoping any more paid content would be bonus missions or special assignments. The Berlin Egg Hunt escalation had a pretty cool theme and new additions and was FREE. Most people really hate the fact that they are PAID escalations and the fact the Greed and Pride can almost be replicated in contracts mode. The theme is definitely cool and the small twists in the escalations were also cool, but I don't think anyone is hating on the themes.
